Nineteen Francorp Clients Make Entrepreneur Magazine’s 102 Fastest-Growing Companies

Olympia Fields, IL – With every New Year comes new beginnings for people, opportunities and businesses.  Now that it is a month into the New Year, publications are coming out with statistics from 2013, and predictions for 2014.  Recently released in the latest issue of Entrepreneur Magazine, the 102 Fastest-Growing Franchise Companies were ranked and highlighted.  Out of the 102 companies, 19 were developed, or assisted by Francorp for expansion through the franchise model.  The list of Entrepreneur’s fastest-growing companies is designed to help understand what’s currently trending in the franchise industry along with a company’s rate of expansion.  In doing so, this gauges what types of businesses are popular at any moment.

Francorp’s 19 clients represented on Entrepreneur’s 102 Fastest-Growing Franchise Companies comprise of Mac Tools (3), Dunkin’ Donuts (5), Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches (8), Great Clips (9), McDonald’s (19), Jersey Mike’s Subs (29), Marco’s Franchising (34), Auntie Anne’s Hand-Rolled Soft Pretzels (35), Edible Arrangements International (39), KFC (43), Papa Murphy’s (51), Batteries Plus Bulbs (63), The UPS Store (71), GNC Franchising (72), Moe’s Southwest Grill (78), The Maids (85), Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa (88), Valvoline Instant Oil Change (88), Culver Franchising System (99).

According to Entrepreneur Magazine, the companies on this list are ranked based on growth in the number of open and operating U.S and Canadian units from July 31st, 2012 to July 31st, 2013.  Out of the main sectors in the franchise industry, fitness and frozen-yogurt businesses take the prize this year, with six representatives from each sector making the list.  Quick-service franchises in general account for more than a quearter of the list; pizza and sandwiches are particularly well-represented.  Yet, if fitness and fast food don’t interest prospective franchisees, there are plenty of other categories to choose from, including hotels, senior care and commercial cleaning.
